World-renowned as the "world's best mariachi group" and known globally as a leader of traditional mariachi music for the 21st century, Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlan are set to perform a powerful night of classic and modern mariachi songs for the crowd at this massive indoor concert venue The Midland on Friday, October 9th, 2026. Performing for all generations of fans alike, Mariachi Vargas will play some of their greatest songs including "La Bikina," "Cielito Lindo," and "Volver Volver" off of the world's greatest mariachi songs in history, in addition to more recent recordings which continue to test limits on the traditional style of music.
Young talented group of pickers from Mexico, who have been performing all over the Southwest for the past several years, bringing a fresh interpretation to the mariachi music of Mexico. They perform all of the popular Regional Style Mexican Music, and have audiences singing and dancing along in the aisles to their high energy versions of classic songs, as well as to their emotional renditions of beautiful Boleros and Rancheras, traditional Sones, and more.
The theater has seating on the main floor as well as on multiple levels of balcony seating. In addition to regular seating, there are several luxurious box seats throughout the theater, each offering a fantastic view of the stage.
